Cocktail Preparation

Prepare the Glass
Take a rocks glass (or an old-fashioned glass) and fill it with ice cubes to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 1 oz of gin, 1 oz of Campari, and 1 oz of sweet vermouth.

Stir the Mixture
Add ice cubes to the mixing glass and stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into Glass
Discard the ice from the chilled rocks glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop the peel into the glass as a garnish.
