Tasting Instructions
- 1
Prepare for Tasting
Gather all the tequila selections, lime wedges, sea salt, and chilled water. Set up a tasting area with small glasses for each tequila.
- 2
Salt the Rim (Optional)
If desired, moisten the rim of the tasting glass with a lime wedge and dip it in sea salt. This enhances the flavor experience.
- 3
Pour the Tequila
Pour 1 oz of each selected tequila into its own glass. You can have 3 different types of tequila for the tasting.
- 4
Taste the Tequila
Start with the first tequila. Take a small sip, let it roll on your palate, and note the flavors. Follow with a lime wedge and a sip of chilled water to cleanse your palate before moving to the next.
- 5
Enjoy and Compare
Repeat the tasting process for each tequila. Discuss the flavors, aromas, and your preferences with your tasting companions.
