Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, rye whiskey, demerara syrup, and angostura bitters.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes and stir the mixture well for about 20-30 seconds until chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass filled with a large ice cube.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop it in as garnish.
