Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the pecan-smoked bacon until crispy. Remove from skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and dry the lettuce. Slice the tomato into thick slices.

Grilling

  1. 4

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  2. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of grilling, place a slice of white cheddar cheese on top of each chicken breast and close the grill lid until the cheese is melted.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Build the Sandwich

Toast the brioche buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown. On the bottom half of each bun, layer the grilled chicken with melted cheese, crispy bacon, lettuce, and tomato slices. Top with red jalapeño jelly and cover with the top half of the bun.
