Chili Simple Syrup

Prepare Chili Simple Syrup
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.

Infuse with Chili
Add the sliced fresh red chili pepper to the saucepan. Allow it to simmer for 5-10 minutes, depending on your desired spice level. Remove from heat and let it cool. Strain out the chili slices and set the syrup aside.
Watermelon Puree

Blend Watermelon
In a blender, add 2 cups of cubed seedless watermelon. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother texture, you can strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve.
Mixing the Margarita

Combine Ingredients
In a shaker, combine the 2 oz of Dobel Barrel-Strength Anjeo Tequila, 1 oz of Dobel Diamante Tequila, 1 oz of the prepared chili simple syrup, and 2 oz of watermelon puree.

Shake
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Prepare Glass
Rim your serving glass with a lime wedge and dip it in chili powder to coat the rim. Fill the glass with ice.

Strain and Serve
Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over ice. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and a lime wedge. Serve immediately.
