Prepare the Meatloaf
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- 3
Shape and Bake
Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- 4
Cool and Slice
Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Then, slice it into 1-inch thick slices.
Assemble the Sandwich
- 5
Melt the Cheese
Place 1 slice of the cooked meatloaf on each ciabatta bun. Top each slice with a slice of white cheddar cheese. Place the sandwiches under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 6
Add Toppings
Remove the sandwiches from the oven. Spread a generous amount of chunky ketchup on top of the melted cheese. Add shredded lettuce and sliced B&B pickles.
- 7
Serve
Top with the other half of the ciabatta bun, serve immediately, and enjoy your delicious meatloaf sandwich!
