Side 1: Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Side 2: Honey-Glazed Carrots

Side 3: Creamy Coleslaw

Method

Preparation for Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. 1

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into even-sized chunks. Place them in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook for about 15-20 minutes until tender.

  2. 2

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, minced garlic, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Preparation for Honey-Glazed Carrots

  1. 3

    Prepare the Carrots

Peel and slice the carrots into thin rounds.

  2. 4

    Cook the Carrots

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add carrots and sauté for about 5 minutes.

  3. 5

    Glaze the Carrots

Add honey, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the carrots are tender and glazed. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.

Preparation for Creamy Coleslaw

  1. 6

    Prepare the Vegetables

Shred the cabbage and carrots using a grater or food processor.

  2. 7

    Make the Dressing

In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  3. 8

    Combine and Toss

Add the shredded cabbage and carrots to the dressing. Toss well to combine and coat the vegetables evenly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
