Base Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruit Purees

If using fresh fruits, wash and peel them as necessary. For blueberry puree, blend fresh blueberries until smooth and strain if desired. For strawberry puree, blend fresh strawberries until smooth, and for peach puree, blend peeled and chopped peaches until smooth.

  2. 2

    Juicing

Juice fresh Florida oranges using a citrus juicer until you have 2 cups of freshly-squeezed orange juice. Strain if desired to remove pulp.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Mix the Mimosa

In a champagne flute, add 1/4 cup of your choice of orange juice or one of the fruit purees. You can mix and match to create different flavors or stick to one favorite.

  2. 4

    Top with Bubbles

Slowly pour chilled champagne or sparkling wine over the juice or puree until the glass is filled, allowing the bubbles to rise and mix gently.

Serving

  1. 5

    Garnish (Optional)

Garnish with a slice of fresh fruit (orange, strawberry, or peach) on the rim of the glass for a beautiful presentation.

  2. 6

    Serve Immediately

Serve the Homecomin' Princess Mimosa immediately while it's bubbly and fresh. Enjoy!
