Biscuit Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. 3

    Incorporate Butter

Add in the unsalted butter and mix with a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.

  5. 5

    Add Milk

Pour in the milk and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

  6. 6

    Drop Biscuit Mixture

Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop heaping spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. 7

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

  3. 10

    Simmer

Reduce heat and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.

  4. 11

  3. 14

    Add Milk
