Winemaking Process

  1. 1

    Harvesting Grapes

Select and harvest ripe Pinot Noir grapes, ensuring they are free from rot and disease.

  2. 2

    Crushing and Destemming

Crush the grapes and remove the stems. This can be done using a grape crusher or by hand.

  3. 3

    Adding Sulfites

Add sodium metabisulfite to the crushed grapes to inhibit unwanted bacteria and protect the wine.

  4. 4

    Fermentation

Add yeast to the grape must and allow it to ferment in a temperature-controlled environment for 7-14 days.

  5. 5

    Pressing

Once fermentation is complete, press the wine to separate the liquid from the solids.

  6. 6

    Aging

Transfer the wine to oak barrels for aging. Allow it to age for at least 6 months to develop flavor.

  7. 7

    Bottling

After aging, filter the wine and bottle it. Seal with corks and label appropriately.
