Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a shallow dish, place the Atlantic salmon fillets. Drizzle the olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and black pepper. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Ensure the grill grates are clean and lightly oil them to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the marinated salmon fillets on the grill skin-side down. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Preparing the Salad

  1. 4

    Prepare the Salad Ingredients

Rinse the spring mix greens thoroughly. Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the cucumber into thin rounds.

  2. 5

    Toss the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the spring mix, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. Drizzle with balsamic dressing and toss gently to coat the ingredients evenly.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

On each plate, create a bed of the prepared spring mix salad. Place a grilled salmon fillet on top of the salad. Serve immediately.
