Cake Ingredients

Ice Cream (optional)

Method

Cake Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bundt Pan

Grease and flour a 6-cup bundt cake pan to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

  4. 4

    Cream Butter and Sugar

In a separate bowl, beat the unsalted butter with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy.

  5. 5

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  6. 6

    Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

  7. 7

    Pour Batter into Pan

Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

  8. 8

    Bake the Cake

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  9. 9

    Cool the Cake

Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serving

  1. 10

    Slice and Serve

Once the cake is completely cool, slice it into pieces. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side for an additional $3.50.
