Method
Preparing Seafood
- 1
Cook the Lobster Tails
In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the lobster tails. Cook for about 8-10 minutes until they are bright red and cooked through. Remove and let cool, then cut in half lengthwise.
- 2
Prepare the King Crab Legs
If using frozen king crab legs, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight. Steam the crab legs for about 5-7 minutes until heated through, then crack them open for serving.
- 3
Cook the Shrimp
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add the shrimp, and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Drain and cool.
- 4
Prepare Oysters and Clams
If using fresh oysters and clams, make sure they are shucked and cleaned. Place them on a serving platter with ice.
Assembling the Seafood Tower
- 5
Layer the Seafood
On a large serving platter or a tiered stand, start by placing a layer of ice at the bottom. Begin stacking the seafood: place king crab legs on the bottom layer, followed by lobster halves, then shrimp, and finally oysters and clams on top.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top of the seafood tower for garnish. Serve with cocktail sauce, garlic butter, and lemon wedges on the side.
