Ribeye Steak Marinade

Method

Marinating the Ribeye

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine the chopped rosemary, thyme, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the 14oz Demkota Ranch Ribeye in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.

Preparing Crispy Pomme Pont Neuf

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thick strips, about 1-inch wide.

  2. 4

    First Fry

In a deep pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the potato strips in batches. Fry for about 5-6 minutes until they are just tender but not browned. Remove and drain on paper towels. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.

  3. 5

    Second Fry

Increase the oil temperature to high. Fry the cooled potatoes again in batches for about 2-3 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt.

Making Assorted House-Made Sauces

  1. 6

    Prepare the Mustard Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise until well combined.

  2. 7

    Prepare the Herb Sauce

In another bowl, mix the chopped fresh herbs with honey and Worcestershire sauce. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Cooking the Ribeye

  1. 8

    Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill to high heat. Remove the ribeye from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  2. 9

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
