Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Vegetables
Start by washing the fresh spinach thoroughly. Chop it coarsely and set it aside. Drain the marinated artichoke hearts and chop them into smaller pieces. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
- 2
Sauté the Onions and Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Then, add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 3
Cook the Spinach
Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the chopped artichokes and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Remove the skillet from heat.
- 4
Make the Cream Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy. Add the sautéed spinach and artichoke mixture to the bowl and stir until everything is evenly combined.
- 5
Transfer to Baking Dish
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the spinach-artichoke mixture into a greased baking dish. Spread it evenly in the dish.
- 6
Top with Cheese
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the spinach-artichoke mixture.
- 7
Bake
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden on top.
- 8
Serve
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Spinach Artichoke dip with crusty bread, tortilla chips, or as a topping for grilled chicken!
