Negroni Preparation
Prepare the Glass
Choose a rocks glass or an old-fashioned glass for serving. Ensure it is clean and chilled.
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour 1 oz of gin, 1 oz of Campari, and 1 oz of sweet vermouth.
Stir
Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled, ensuring the ingredients are combined but not overly diluted.
Strain into Glass
Using a strainer, pour the mixed ingredients into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice cubes.
Garnish
Express the oils from a piece of orange peel over the drink, then place it in the glass. Optionally, add a sprig of rosemary or thyme for additional aroma.
