Prepare Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and water (1:1 ratio). Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let cool.

Juice the Blood Oranges
Cut the blood oranges in half and use a juicer to extract 1 cup of fresh blood orange juice.

Mix Ingredients
In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed blood orange juice, simple syrup, and vodka (or gin) and stir well.

Add Sparkling Water
Slowly pour in the sparkling water to the pitcher and gently stir to combine, making sure not to lose the carbonation.

Prepare the Glasses
Fill serving glasses with ice cubes to taste. Strain the blood orange mixture over the ice.

Garnish and Serve
Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and a slice of blood orange. Serve immediately and enjoy!
