Chop Tomatoes
Dice the tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil
Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the diced tomatoes.

Mince Garlic
Peel and mince the garlic cloves, then add them to the tomato and basil mixture.

Season the Mixture
Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the mixture, add salt and black pepper to taste, and gently mix everything together.
Prepare the Bread

Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices on a diagonal.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet, brush each slice with olive oil, and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
Assemble the Bruschetta

Top the Toasted Bread
Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato and basil mixture generously onto each slice.

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately while warm.
