Method

Fried Cod

  1. 1

    Prepare the Breading

In three separate shallow bowls, place flour in the first, beaten eggs mixed with milk in the second, and a mix of cornmeal, salt, and black pepper in the third.

  2. 2

    Bread the Cod

Dredge each cod fillet in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the cornmeal mixture.

  3. 3

    Fry the Cod

In a deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the coated cod fillets until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Clam Strips

  1. 4

    Prepare the Breading

In a similar manner to the cod, set up three shallow bowls with flour, egg mixture, and cornmeal mixture.

  2. 5

    Bread the Clam Strips

Dredge clam strips in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat with the cornmeal mixture.

  3. 6

    Fry the Clam Strips

Fry the clam strips in the hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Shrimp and Scallops

  1. 7

    Prepare the Seafood

In a bowl, mix shrimp and scallops with garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Let marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 8

    Cook the Seafood

In a skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Add the marinated shrimp and scallops, cooking for 4-5 minutes or until shrimp are cooked through and scallops are opaque.

Coleslaw

  1. 9

    Prepare the Vegetables

Shred the cabbage and carrot using a grater or food processor.

  2. 10

    Mix the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrot with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Sauces

  1. 11

    Serve the Sauces

Place tartar sauce and cocktail sauce in small bowls for dipping and serving alongside the platter.
