Grilled Tuna

Method

Grilled Tuna

  1. 1

    Marinate the Tuna

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Place the tuna steaks in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes, turning occasionally.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Tuna

Remove the tuna from the marinade and place it on the hot grill. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Garnish

Remove the tuna from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Cold Shrimp

  1. 5

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add lemon wedges and Old Bay seasoning to the water.

  2. 6

    Cook the Shrimp

Once the water is boiling, add the shrimp to the pot. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

  3. 7

    Ice Bath

Remove the shrimp from the pot and immediately transfer them to a bowl filled with ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

  4. 8

    Serve

Drain the shrimp from the ice water and serve chilled. You can serve them with cocktail sauce or lemon wedges.
