Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt. Carefully remove the stems from each mushroom and set the caps aside.

  3. 3

    Chop the Stems

Finely chop the mushroom stems and set them aside for use in the filling.

Cheese Filling

  1. 4

    Mix the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, chopped mushroom stems, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.

  2. 5

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a small spoon or a piping bag, fill each mushroom cap generously with the cheese filling, pressing it down slightly to pack it in.

Baking

  1. 6

    Prepare for Baking

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased with olive oil.

  2. 7

    Bake the Mushrooms

Drizzle the stuffed mushrooms lightly with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Serving

  1. 8

    Cool and Serve

Once baked, remove the mushrooms from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
