Method
Crab Cakes Preparation
- 1
Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, chopped green onions, bread crumbs, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper until just mixed. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- 2
Form Patties
Using your hands, form the mixture into round patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter. Place the patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- 3
Chill
Refrigerate the patties for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up before cooking.
- 4
Cook
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the crab cakes (in batches if necessary) and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Mango Salsa Preparation
- 5
Mix Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Stir gently to mix.
- 6
Chill
Let the salsa sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Spicy Aioli Preparation
- 7
Combine Aioli Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, minced garlic, Sriracha sauce, lemon juice, and salt to taste. Adjust Sriracha for desired spiciness.
