Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off the excess.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- 3
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
- 4
Add Capers
Stir in the capers and remaining butter, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly for another 2 minutes.
- 5
Combine
Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to warm the chicken through.
