In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, pineapple juice, and orange juice. Add ice cubes and shake well until chilled.

Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice. Slowly pour the grenadine over the back of a spoon so that it sinks to the bottom, creating a sunset effect.
