Modifiers & Finish

Method

Build & Chill

  1. 1

    Combine spirits

Add Cirrus vodka, Beefeater gin, Plateray 3 Stars rum, Larceny bourbon, Famous Grouse scotch, and Lunazul blanco tequila into a mixing glass or cocktail shaker.

  2. 2

Add fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters to the mixing glass with the spirits.

  3. 3

Fill the mixing glass or shaker with ice to chill. If using a mixing glass and you plan to strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice, use plenty of ice to properly chill and dilute (about 6–8 large cubes). If using a shaker, fill roughly two-thirds full with ice.

  4. 4

    Stir or shake

For a slightly smoother, more integrated result, stir the mixture for 20–25 seconds with a bar spoon until the outside of the mixing glass is well chilled. If you prefer a colder, more aerated drink, shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds.

Serve & Garnish

  1. 5

Prepare a rocks glass by adding one large clear ice cube or fill with fresh ice.

  2. 6

Double-strain (if shaken) or strain (if stirred) the chilled cocktail into the prepared rocks glass over the fresh ice to remove small shards.

  3. 7

Express the oils of an orange twist over the drink by holding the twist over the glass and giving it a quick pinch, then run the twist around the rim and drop it into the glass as garnish.

  4. 8

Serve immediately. Sip and enjoy responsibly.
