Method
Elegant Cocktail Trio (choose 3 items)
Classic Gin Martini
Chill 4 martini glasses in the freezer. In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine 6 oz gin and 1.5 oz dry vermouth. Stir briskly for 20–30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted. Strain into chilled glasses and garnish each with 1–2 olives. Makes 4 servings (1.5 oz spirit per glass).
Vodka Lemon Fizz
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add 6 oz vodka, 2 oz fresh lemon juice and 1 oz simple syrup. Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds. Strain into 4 ice-filled highball glasses, top each with club soda (approx 1 oz each), and garnish with a lemon wheel and a sprig of mint. Makes 4 servings.
Sparkling Peach Cocktail
Place 6 chilled champagne flutes on the bar. Add 1/2 oz peach puree or peach liqueur to each flute (total about 6 oz used across 12 flutes — adjust if serving fewer). Slowly top with chilled champagne to preserve effervescence. Garnish each with a raspberry. Serves up to 12 small pours (adjust quantities for 4 full flutes using 3–4 oz champagne and 1/2–1 oz peach per glass).
Prestige Item (choose 1)
Prestige Whiskey/Cognac Service
Chill lowball glasses slightly if desired. Place a large format ice sphere or block in each glass (one per serving). Pour 1.5–2 oz of the top-shelf whiskey or cognac over the ice. Express an orange peel by holding it over the glass and squeezing the peel so oils spray across the spirit, then rub the rim with the peel and drop it in as garnish. Serve neat alongside tasting notes and a small splash of water on the side if guests wish to dilute. Serves 6–8 (depending on pour size).
Classique Plateau Fromage (cheese board for 8)
Prepare board and room-temperature cheeses: Remove cheeses from refrigeration 30–60 minutes before service so flavors open up. Place the largest cheeses first spaced around the board.
Slice and arrange: Slice the baguette and arrange crackers in small stacks or fanned out sections. Fan thin slices of prosciutto and salami and tuck them into crevices on the board.
Add condiments and accoutrements: Spoon fig jam, honey, and seeded mustard in small bowls or directly on the board. Place cornichons, mixed nuts, and grapes in small clusters around cheeses.
Bar Essentials & Garnishes
Ice & glassware prep: Keep plenty of ice on hand—both cubes for mixing and large format for prestige pours. Chill glassware where appropriate (martini/champagne glasses).
Bitters and finishing touches: Use Angostura bitters sparingly to finish stirred cocktails or old-fashioned style if requested (approx 1–2 dashes per drink). Keep extra citrus, cocktail cherries, and mint available for garnish and quick fresh juice re-squeezing.
Serving flow: Set up a small bar area with the three selected cocktail bases, the prestige bottle on display with large ice, and the cheese board within easy reach. Offer small tasting pours (1 oz) of each elegant cocktail for guests who want to sample, and standard pours (1.5–2 oz) for full servings.
