Season the Potatoes
Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. In a mixing bowl, combine salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss the dried potato spirals in the seasoning mix until evenly coated.

Heat the Oil
In a large, deep pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer for accuracy.

Fry the Potato Spirals
Carefully add a handful of the seasoned potato spirals into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
