Prepare the burger patty
Season the Angus beef patty with salt and blackening seasoning to taste. Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.

Cook the patty
Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Add cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place the jalapeño jack cheese slice on top of the patty and cover to melt.

Prepare the bun
While the cheese is melting, toast the burger bun on the grill or in a toaster.

Assemble the burger
Spread Cajun mayo on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top.

Add toppings
Layer on the fried jalapenos, bacon strips, and a dollop of guacamole. Close the burger with the top half of the bun.

Serve the Guadalupe Burger immediately with your choice of side.
