Prepare the Breading
In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, cornmeal, salt, black pepper, and paprika. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.

Coat the Fish and Shrimp
Dip each fish filet and shrimp into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture. Make sure they are evenly coated.
Frying

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.

Fry the Fish and Shrimp
Carefully add the coated fish filets and shrimp to the hot oil. Fry in batches if necessary, until golden brown and cooked through (about 3-4 minutes per side for fish, 2-3 minutes per side for shrimp).

Drain and Serve
Remove the fried fish and shrimp and let drain on paper towels. Serve hot with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and coleslaw on the side.
