Boudin and Sides
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Coleslaw
In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the mixture is well coated. Adjust seasoning to taste. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- 2
Cook the Boudin
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the boudin link for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until heated through and lightly browned. For the boudin balls, deep fry in hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Alternatively, they can be baked in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes.
- 3
Serve
On a plate, arrange the cooked boudin link and boudin balls. Add a generous serving of coleslaw and your choice of side. Enjoy!
