Main Ingredients

Method

Grilling the Salmon

1

Prepare the Salmon

Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Brush each fillet with olive oil and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

2

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

3

Grill the Salmon

Place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Close the lid and grill for about 6-8 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Flip the salmon carefully and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

4

Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Be careful not to let it brown.

5

Add Lemon Juice and Garlic

Once the butter is melted, stir in the fresh lemon juice and minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.

6

Finish with Parsley

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

7

Plate the Dish

Once the salmon is grilled, transfer it to a serving platter. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce generously over the salmon fillets.

8

Garnish and Serve

Garnish with additional parsley if desired, and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
