Fries

Method

Fries

1

Prepare the Fries

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Spread the frozen French fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.

2

Bake the Fries

Drizzle the vegetable oil over the fries and sprinkle with salt. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through until golden brown and crispy.

Chili

3

Cook the Ground Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.

4

Add Aromatics

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onions are soft.

5

Combine Ingredients

Stir in the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Assembly

6

Assemble the Dish

Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and place them on a serving platter. Top with the prepared chili and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.

7

Add Final Touches

Drizzle sour cream over the cheese and sprinkle with chopped green onions. Serve immediately while hot.
