Start by selecting a large wine glass or spritz glass. Fill it with ice cubes to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, Aperol, and strawberry syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Gently top the strained mixture with the sparkling wine, pouring slowly to maintain the bubbles.
