Filling Preparation
Prepare the Blueberries
In a large mixing bowl, combine the fresh blueberries, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon. Gently toss until the blueberries are evenly coated.
Transfer to Baking Dish
Pour the blueberry mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
Topping Preparation
Make the Topping
In a separate bowl, mix together the old-fashioned oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and salt. Melt the unsalted butter and pour it into the mixture, stirring until the mixture is crumbly.
Spread the Topping
Evenly sprinkle the topping over the blueberry filling in the baking dish.
Baking
Bake the Crisp
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the blueberry crisp in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the blueberries are bubbling.
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm with vanilla ice cream.
