Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all your ingredients and prepare them. Slice the tomato and onion, wash the lettuce leaves, and set them aside.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
- 3
Shape the Beef Patty
Form the ground beef into one large patty, about 1 inch thick. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 4
Cook the Beef Patty
In the same skillet, add the beef patty and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patty, then place the slices of Monterey Jack cheese on top. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patty is cooked to your desired doneness.
- 5
Toast the Buns
While the patty is cooking, toast the burger buns in another skillet until golden brown.
- 6
Assemble the Burger
Spread the Dijonnaise sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Layer with lettuce, the beef patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, sliced tomato, and onion. Top with the other half of the bun.
