Prepare the Veal Cutlets

Prepare the Breading Station
Set up a breading station by placing flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese in separate shallow dishes.

Bread the Veal Cutlets
Season the veal cutlets with salt and black pepper. Dredge each cutlet in flour, shaking off the excess, dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture.
Cook the Veal Cutlets

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.

Prepare the Meat Sauce

Cook the Ground Beef
In a separate saucepan, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Cook until no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spoon.

Simmer the Sauce
Stir in the canned tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Reduce heat and let simmer for 15-20 minutes. Stir in the chopped fresh basil just before serving.
Serve

Plate the Dish
Place the cooked veal cutlets on a serving platter and generously spoon the meat sauce over them.

Garnish and Enjoy
Optionally, garnish with additional grated Parmesan and fresh basil. Serve hot.
