- 1
Gather all ingredients: 0.5 lb pulled pork, 3 ribs (Texas, St. Louis, or Baby Back), 2 cups coleslaw, 1 cup baked beans, and 4 pieces of cornbread.
- 2
Pork rub: In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
- 3
Pat the pulled pork dry and rub evenly with the spice mixture. Let the pork rest for 15 minutes to absorb flavors.

- 6
Cook pork until the internal temperature reaches 195-205°F (90-96°C) and the meat shreds easily. For 0.5 lb pork, this will typically take about 2-3 hours. Maintain gentle heat and avoid overcooking.
- 7
Remove pork, wrap in foil, and let rest for 15-30 minutes. Then shred into pulled pork.
- 8
Cook ribs for 2-2.5 hours until tender. If desired, wrap ribs in foil for the last 30-60 minutes to retain moisture. Unwrap and cook an additional 5-10 minutes to set the exterior.

- 10
Sides: Baked Beans — warm 1 cup of beans on the stove or in a microwave, adding a small amount of sauce, onion, and seasonings to taste until heated through.
- 11
Cornbread — bake 4 pieces in a preheated 425°F (220°C) oven for 15-20 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- 12
To serve, plate pulled pork and ribs together, add the two sides (coleslaw and baked beans), and include the cornbread on the side. Enjoy a classic Alabama Rib Shack combo.
