Breakfast

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Prepare the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the fresh spinach and sauté until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Spinach

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter. Pour in the egg mixture and cook gently, stirring frequently, until the eggs are set but still soft.

Scramble the Eggs

Fold in the sautéed spinach and cheddar cheese into the scrambled eggs. Cook for an additional minute until the cheese melts.

Add Cheese and Spinach

While the eggs are cooking, toast the whole wheat bread slices to your liking.

Toast the Bread

Serve the scrambled eggs over the toasted bread and enjoy your breakfast!
