Method

Crab Cakes Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, old bay seasoning, green onions, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Cakes

Shape the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter. You should have about 4 cakes.

  3. 3

    Cook Cakes

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Grit Cakes Preparation

  1. 4

    Cook Grits

In a pot, bring water to a boil. Stir in salt and grits. Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened (about 20-25 minutes).

  2. 5

    Add Cheese and Butter

Once cooked, stir in butter and cheddar cheese until melted. Pour into a greased pan and allow to cool completely.

  3. 6

    Slice and Fry

Once cooled, cut the grits into squares. Heat a little olive oil in a skillet and fry the grits until golden brown on both sides.

Grilled Asparagus Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare Asparagus

Preheat a grill or grill pan. Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  2. 8

    Grill Asparagus

Grill asparagus for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.

House Sauce Preparation

  1. 9

    Mix Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, hot sauce, and garlic powder until smooth.
