Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine equal parts water and sugar (1 cup each). Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. Allow to cool before using.

  2. 2

    Juicing Lemons

Roll the lemons on a countertop to loosen the juice. Cut them in half and use a juicer to extract 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine 1 cup of fresh lemon juice, 1 cup of simple syrup, and 1 cup of vodka. Stir well to mix all the ingredients.

  2. 4

    Add Club Soda

Slowly pour in 2 cups of club soda to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine and to maintain the fizz.

Serving

  1. 5

    Prepare Glasses

Fill serving glasses with ice cubes. Pour the Monaco mixture over the ice.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Top each drink with a lemon slice and a few fresh mint leaves for garnish. Serve immediately.
