Steak Marinade

Vegetables for Skewering

Method

Marinating the Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Cut the tenderloin steak into 1-inch cubes. Add the steak cubes to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 3

    Chop the Vegetables

While the steak is marinating, chop the bell peppers, red onion, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes into bite-sized pieces suitable for skewering.

Assembling the Skewers

  1. 4

    Thread the Ingredients

Once the steak is marinated, take the skewers and alternate threading the marinated steak cubes with the chopped vegetables until the skewer is filled, leaving a bit of space at each end.

Grilling the Brochettes

  1. 5

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 6

    Grill the Skewers

Place the assembled skewers on the grill. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve Hot

Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or sides.
