Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tenderloin

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. While the grill is heating up, take the beef tenderloin and pat it dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Rub the olive oil all over the meat.

  2. 2

    Season the Meat

Sprinkle the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder evenly over the tenderloin, ensuring it is fully coated.

  3. 3

    Grill the Tenderloin

Once the grill is hot, place the seasoned tenderloin on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (130°F for medium-rare).

  4. 4

    Rest the Meat

Remove the tenderloin from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Horseradish Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Mix the Sauce

In a bowl, combine the prepared horseradish, sour cream, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir well until all ingredients are fully blended.

  2. 6

    Taste and Adjust

Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or pepper according to your preference.

Serving

  1. 7

    Slice and Serve

After the tenderloin has rested, slice it into thin pieces against the grain. Serve the sliced tenderloin on a platter with dinner rolls on the side and a bowl of horseradish sauce for dipping.
