Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and chopped dill (or parsley). Pour this marinade over the salmon fillets in a shallow dish, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

Grilling

  1. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, approximately 375°F (190°C). If using a charcoal grill, let the coals burn down until they are covered in white ash.

  2. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess liquid drip off. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. For best results, avoid flipping the fish too often.

Serving

  1. 4

    Serve the Salmon

Once grilled, carefully remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve the salmon with lemon slices and a sprinkle of fresh dill or parsley for garnish.
