Method

Hummus Preparation

    Drain the canned chickpeas and rinse them under cold water.

    In a food processor, combine the rinsed chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, and salt.

    Blend the mixture until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary.

    Add water gradually until the desired consistency is reached.
