Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Berries
Rinse the mixed berries under cold water. Pat them dry with a clean towel and set aside.
- 2
Muddle the Mint
In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press down on the mint leaves to release their oils. Be careful not to shred the leaves too much; you just want to release the flavor.
Mixing
- 3
Combine Ingredients
Add the Belvedere vodka or Tanqueray 10 gin to the muddled mint in the shaker. Then add the mixed berries. Use the muddler to gently press the berries to release some juices, but do not completely mash them.
- 4
Shake
Fill the shaker with ice and shake the mixture vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and combine the flavors.
Serving
- 5
Strain and Pour
Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice, leaving the solid ingredients behind in the shaker.
- 6
Add Prosecco
Top the glass with the chilled Prosecco, gently stirring to combine without losing the bubbles.
- 7
Garnish
Garnish with additional mint leaves and a few whole berries for decoration. Serve immediately and enjoy your Fresca Fizz!
