Method
Preparation
- 1
Chill the Ingredients
Before preparing the mimosa, chill both the sparkling wine and the fresh orange juice in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. This ensures that the mimosa is refreshing and cold.
Mixing the Mimosa
- 2
Combine Ingredients
In a large pitcher, pour in the freshly squeezed orange juice. Slowly add the chilled sparkling wine to the orange juice, allowing the two to mix gently. Be careful not to pour too fast to prevent excessive fizzing.
- 3
Serve
Pour the mimosa mixture into champagne flutes or your preferred glassware. Fill each glass about halfway to allow for additional fizz and to avoid overflow.
Garnishing (optional)
- 4
Add Garnishes
If desired, garnish each glass with a slice of orange on the rim and a few fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch. This adds a pop of color and enhances the visual appeal.
