Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tofu

Drain the tofu and press it between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut the tofu into small cubes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Peel the jicama and cut it into sticks. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds and dice the avocado. Chop the fresh cilantro finely.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Tofu

In a non-stick skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Mixing and Serving

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the cooked tofu, diced avocado, cucumber slices, jicama sticks, and chopped cilantro.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 6

    Serve

Drizzle the dressing over the mixed ingredients in the large bowl, toss gently to combine, and serve immediately.
