Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mangoes

Start by selecting ripe mangoes. Wash them thoroughly under running water.

  2. 2

    Peel and Chop

Peel the mangoes using a knife or a vegetable peeler. Cut the flesh away from the pit and chop it into small chunks.

Juicing

  1. 3

    Blend the Ingredients

In a blender, combine the chopped mango pieces, 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of lime juice.

  2. 4

    Blend Until Smooth

Blend the mixture on high speed until it is smooth and well combined, about 1-2 minutes.

Straining

  1. 5

    Strain the Juice

If you prefer a smoother juice, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large bowl or pitcher to separate the pulp from the juice.

  2. 6

    Discard Pulp (Optional)

You can discard the pulp or use it in smoothies or desserts.

Serving

  1. 7

    Chill and Serve

Chill the mango juice in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve in glasses over ice, if desired.
