Method

Steak

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, chopped rosemary, thyme, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture all over the ribeye steaks and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Scrambled Eggs

  1. 3

    Prepare the Eggs

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.

  2. 4

    Cook the Eggs

Melt butter in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Pour in the egg mixture and gently stir with a spatula until the eggs are softly cooked but still creamy. Remove from heat.

Smashed Pan Fried Fingerlings Potatoes

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Boil the fingerling potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.

  2. 6

    Smash and Fry the Potatoes

Using the bottom of a glass, gently smash each potato. In a skillet, heat olive oil and add smashed potatoes, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Fry until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Caramelized Onion

  1. 7

    Caramelize the Onion

In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add thinly sliced onion and a pinch of salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until the onions are soft and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
