Preparing the Shrimp

Boil the Shrimp
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

Add Shrimp
Carefully add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the boiling water. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Making the Cocktail Sauce

Mix Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon of Tabasco sauce.

Season the Sauce
Stir the mixture well and add salt to taste. Adjust the horseradish and Tabasco if you prefer a spicier sauce.

Serve with Shrimp
Transfer the cocktail sauce to a serving bowl and place it alongside the shrimp on the platter.
